The Medicines & Ceremonial Offerings

earth medicines are not here to save you. They are here to remind you of what already lives within.

All ceremonies I support or co-facilitate are private and shared only through direct email. Out of respect for the lineages and the integrity of the work, I do not publicly post details or registration links. If you feel drawn to participate, you’re welcome to join my private email list where I share upcoming offerings, preparation guidance, and information.
This page is intended as an introductory guide to some ancestral medicines. My goal is to provide context, understanding, and insight into these traditions with integrity, respect, and care. It’s important to remember that every shaman, guide, and facilitator has their own way of working with these teachings. Books, videos, or research can provide insight, but nothing replaces direct experience. These practices are teachers and allies we come into relationship with. What you read or hear is one perspective, not the full picture. Each ceremony, each experience, and each person’s journey is unique.
Learn More About the Medicines
Ayahuasca
Ayahuasca is a powerful Amazonian plant medicine traditionally used for healing and spiritual insight. It’s brewed from the Banisteriopsis caapi vine and combined with chacruna or other admixture plants, depending on the region and lineage. The brew induces strong visions, emotional purging, and deep introspection. Used in ceremonial settings, ayahuasca is valued for its ability to reveal subconscious patterns, facilitate healing, and foster a sense of connection to nature, spirit, or the self.
Kambo- Phyllomedusa bicolor
Kambo is a traditional Amazonian medicine derived from the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog. It’s applied to small burns on the skin, allowing the secretion to enter the lymphatic system. Though not psychoactive, Kambo is known for its intense physical purging and energetic cleansing, promoting detoxification and emotional release. Sessions typically require fasting beforehand and drinking water during, supporting the body through the cleansing process.
Bufo (5-MeO-DMT)
Bufo, also known as 5-MeO-DMT, is a potent psychoactive medicine derived from the secretion of the Bufo alvarius toad, native to the Sonoran Desert. When vaporized and inhaled, it rapidly induces a powerful, often overwhelming state of expanded consciousness. Many report experiences of ego dissolution, unity with all existence, and profound spiritual insight. Though brief in duration, Bufo is considered one of the most intense and transformative entheogens, used ceremonially for deep healing and awakening.
Psilocybin
Psilocybin mushrooms, known as “Niños Santos,” are sacred fungi used by Indigenous cultures for spiritual and healing purposes. They produce visionary states, emotional clarity, and expanded awareness by affecting brain chemistry. The intensity of the experience varies with dosage, individual sensitivity, and environment, revealing deep insights and connection to nature and the self.
Mapacho
Mapacho is a traditional Amazonian tobacco (Nicotiana rustica) known for its strong, purifying smoke. Used ceremonially by Indigenous peoples, it is burned or smoked to clear negative energy, sharpen focus, and enhance spiritual connection. Unlike common tobacco, mapacho is highly potent and considered a sacred medicine for protection, healing, and grounding during rituals.
Hapé/ Rapé
Hapé (rapé) is a traditional Amazonian snuff made from Nicotiana rustica tobacco and a blend of ashes and medicinal plants, varying by region and purpose. It is administered through the nose using a pipe, bringing a sharp, grounding effect. Used in Indigenous rituals, hapé clears the mind, sharpens focus, and supports energetic cleansing. While not psychoactive like ayahuasca, it is considered a powerful tool for meditation, healing, and spiritual connection.
